Hope Mission was first introduced to the Meals on Wheels programs in November 2021. We started with the heart to provide meals to homebound individuals in our community. Since then, we have grown from serving an estimated 10,000 meals to 23,000 in 2025 and beyond.

Monday – Friday, the Meals on Wheels Director, along with the kitchen staff, prepares 95+ packaged meals, which are then picked up and delivered to homebound individuals in Carteret County by volunteer drivers.

Meals on Wheels delivers more than a meal – it brings friendship, dignity, and HOPE to our homebound community. A simple, friendly “HELLO” from our volunteers can make a lasting difference in someone’s day.

Join the movement, and together, we can deliver.

Volunteer opportunities for individuals, groups and families are plentiful.

Meal on Wheels of Coastal Carolina and its volunteers work together to enhance the quality of life for our homebound community. About 40-50% of those over 65 have unmet needs and live alone. Through the caring hearts of our community volunteers and the program we are building today, we are making every effort to make a lasting impact and care for those who have trouble caring for themselves.
