They served their nation and now they’re homeless.

Some of the homeless military veterans in the county stay at the Hope Mission men’s shelter. Others live in the woods, and some bounce from home to home depending on friends.

There’s Jimmy Bigelow, 35, who served in the U.S. Army. He recently lost his job and place of residence.

Mike Norris, 59, served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Persian Gulf conflict.
